November 2023 Case Status Product Update

Hello from the Case Status team.

We are excited to bring you this November 2023 Case Status Product Update

Upcoming Customer Webinar: Join us on December 19th at 3 PM to hear from Pond Lehocky Giordano (PLG), our first law firm customer to reach the milestone of 1 Million client logins. This extraordinary achievement is a testament to their unwavering dedication to the client experience. It's a shining example of how a firm who delivers great legal services via client service technology can yield happy clients who, in turn, bring additional benefits to the firm. Join us to hear directly from the leaders at PLG about what this 1 million means for them and what it can mean for you. Register here.

Note: For December we will not have our normal Customer Webinar focused on product updates and best practices. We will start the 2024 series in January with some exciting announcements. However, don't forget all your awesome resources. There is plenty of educational content at the ready!

This Month's Updates:

Support for Multiple Phone Numbers

For firms that currently have or would like to use dedicated numbers per practice area, Case Status now has that flexibility!

Phone numbers can now be tied to an individual practice area instead of just one number per firm. If configured, any message sent from staff will be delivered to the client using the dedicated practice area number. Additionally, our enhanced routing capabilities with this feature ensure that if there are multiple cases in multiple practice areas, your clients messages will end up in the right case.

If you wish to have multiple numbers configured for your firm, please reach out to our Support team to setup this feature.

Integration Enhancements

Ability to turn off Case Description Syncing

For all of our integrated firms, we now have more flexibility in regards to what data we pull from your Case Management System.

We have added an additional setting that will control whether we import the description of the case into Case Status. If this setting is turned off, no description will be imported and your team can manually set the description within Case Status.

Assembly Neos: Additional Stage Mapping Option

For our Neos integrated firms, we have added additional options when it comes to how we pull the current stage of a case.

Now the integration can be configured to pull from either the 'Phase' or the 'Class' field within Neos. If you would like this to pull from the 'Class' field as shown below, please reach out to our Customer Success team.

Sneak Peek: What we're working on this month

Calendar Integrations for MerusCase & Clio

In December we will be releasing both the Clio and MerusCase Calendar Integrations! This feature will greatly reduce the duplicate data entry for adding appointments to Case Status.

This will allow firm users to select which event types they would like to be imported/synced back to Case Status. Once the types are chosen and mapped to the appointment type options in Case Status, a nightly sync will pull any new appointments into Case Status. These will then create automated appointment reminders for your clients.
